The Bachelor of Education programme, generally known as B.Ed, is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (Classes – VI – VIII), secondary (classes IX-X) and senior secondary (classes XI-XII) levels.
The minimum period, required to complete the program is two year and maximum three years.
Candidates with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) either in the bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) and or Master degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B. Ed (Regular) program.
Two units 100 Students.
Admission on prescribed form will be offered on the basis of the merit list of the applicants in the entrance test. The centre of the entrance test will be fixed and communicated. The candidates will be required to submit only the filled in application form without enclosures. The enclosures (documents) mentioned in the instructions for filling-in the application form are to be submitted later after receiving the letter of offer for admission to B. Ed.
